The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro was put to the test by Zack Nelson, the host of the well-known YouTube channel JerryRigEverything. The display, camera, and body are all subjected to testing to determine their scratch resistance, structural stiffness, and flame resistance. An first scratch test is shown in the video. Despite having Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a glass covering on the back camera island, the Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro did not appear to be able to withstand scratches at level six on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness. At level seven, the phone began to detect deeper grooves.

The Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro was put through a bend test in the last round, highlighting its structural flaws. The handset’s frame and glass back were both too weak to withstand the bend test, and when it was bent from the centre, it broke in half. Although it was demonstrated that the phone will become unresponsive, the front glass did not develop any surface-level breaks. Nelson tried to bend the screen of the Asus ROG Phone 5, but that attempt failed. It broke from a place below the camera module, split in half, and stopped responding.
